Ok, to answer some peoples question, you can make this recipe with apple sauce. I just did this and it turned out fine. I used 1/4 cup of apple sauce. The next time I make this receipe with apple sauce Ill add a little sweetener, but this is a personal preference.

Sarah, I loved this "goof" proof recipe! I'm having fun adding in different ingredients to make my cookie!! Chocolate chips are a favorite as well as some coconut!! I'm thinking of even trying peanut butter in there, too. As for the person asking about how to store these?? I can assure you, they won't last long, but I do use a zip lock baggie once they're made and I'm sure they would freeze well. Also they do firm up a bit, but are still a "soft" cookie if this helps. They won't crumble!

You can try using an egg white and added teaspoon of sweetener like honey or agave.
